Svetlana Ivchenko (Sumy)I have just found your site and I wish to add my experiences in the hope of stopping another scammer.. I received a response to my ad in AOL personals that was from a Ukrainian girl. I responded back to her and after about 3 emails she asked me for money to pay for her internet time at Internet Cafe. Unlike other scams I have read about on your site her letters answered specific questions...although I would have to ask twice in some cases. It appeared she was reading quickly...and would miss it (apparently rationalization on my part). Only twice was there something fishy in her letters. On 2 occasions her broken English got "perfect" for a number of sentences, then returned to her normal way of writing. She eventually got around to asking for visa and passport money...but she also suggested that I could come to Kiev and she would meet me. She claimed to be writing no one but me but she knew the exact airfare from Kiev to NYC, r/t !! After 14-15 emails.. all of them expressing ever increasing love...she stopped writing. I had been recently indicating strongly that I didnt have a lot of money and had asked for a phone number so I could call her collect..with the revelation that I had been studying Russian and could probably hold up my end of a conversation. When I hadnt heard from her in a week...I sent a "fishing" letter stating that I was close to obtaining her a ticket to come to the US. I received no response to that either. On your site I noticed one other woman using a very similar name but there was no picture of my "little sweetheart" so I thought Id send you her pictures. Please notice how different she looks between pictures. Is this the same woman? I hope she hasnt convinced some other poor fool to meet her in Kiev. Her "name" and supposed address isSvetlana Ivchenko 14 Dzerzhinskogo Side Street Sumy 40022, UkraineJohn
