Elena Pechugina (Chelyabinsk, Russia)I am a 31 year-old male, and I am so glad that I found this web site. This person warned me not to send her any gifts because they would probably be stolen, but, unfortunately for her and me (sort of) I had already sent a birthday gift through a florist in Chelyabinsk. When "she" seemed to avoid my repeated questions about whether or not she received my gift, I decided to check with the florist. The florist told me they could not deliver because the home address I was given was actually that of a business. From there I ran the address: 21 Truda, 76 Chelyabinsk Russian Federation 454000 through a few search engines on the internet and found that that address had been linked to other scammers. Subsequent searches led me to this site where, not only did I find the same photos she had been sending me, but also the same "heart-felt" e-mails. As Im sure "she" watches this page regularly, I wont give any other details that she screwed up in her subsequent e-mails that confirmed "she" was a fake. The most important thing to remember here gentlemen is to PAY ATTENTION to what a woman says in her e-mails, dont just drool over her photographs and overlook everything she says, especially when there are 100s or even 1000s of dollars involved. All travel arrangements, if she is legitimate, can be made BY YOU right here in the USA, dont fall for the "Galyas aunt Juliya in Moscow can get tickets for $900 US dollars" routine. Dont be like some of her past victims and send money in spite of the fact that the details of her story keep changing. Remember, think with your brain, not your d**k, PAY ATTENTION to what your potential mate is saying in her e-mails. Does she answer your questions, or seem to overlook them? If you have doubts, confront her about them (be nice of course, she may actually be a real person), if she is really interested in you she will address your concerns in a serious manner, not with a bunch of "I love you??¦I cant live without you??¦Our first meeting will be so romantic??¦" BS. Oh, I see that "she" changed her picture, she must have actually read my final e-mail to "her" about posting her photos on every anti-scam site I could find. So "she" tried to scam me, so what? I only lost the money that I spent on the flowers. I completely disagree with anyone who thinks that all Russian women are this way, Ive had scammers try to rip me off 7 out of 7 times right here in the good old "honest" USA. Just remember the average criminal is pretty lazy, so if youre paying attention, theres no way they can hurt you, they havent hurt me yet. Im definitely not giving up on Russian women, from what I have seen, many of them have better morals and values than most of the local women Ive met. The internet is a big, dangerous place, scams are just part of the game, keep your eyes open and try not to be surprised and get all bent out of shape when you find out someone is a fake. Dont give up guys, there are plenty of real women out there, and being overtly suspicious about anyone that contacts you in the future is a sure way to make the real ones "run for the hills".
