This person I found on Match.com listing Melbourne, FL as the city of residence. It was not until a few emails in I found she was from Russia. The communication started innocently enough and progressed over the course of just a couple of months to intense love and wanting to come live in the US. I did send money for documents and plane tickets and thought all was good. It was not until after they had my money that some cracks developed in the story, with questions not being answered and emails, such as the one below repeated over the course of just a few days apart. The bomb was when she was supposed to board the plane to leave Russia and they claim I needed to send $2,800 to get past customs. I could not find any such rule on the US embassy Moscow web site or anywhere else. Also, the visa they sent a picture of is in black and white and has a case number with the wrong date code printed on it, obviously a fake visa. I just wanted to submit this name so no one else gets hit with this. At least I only lost a little money on this and was wise to end things after they wanted the larger sum.
