I met Sonya on a free dating site for Russian and Ukrainian ladies. When we met she was 21 years old and a university student at a university in Syktyvkar, Russia. She was a student and not working, so she needed money, and she asked me to help her out. I had been talking to her for only a month, and she seemed like a really good, conservative, nice, caring, open, loving, and honest girl, like the girl that I've always wanted. She promised she loved me and that she wanted me to go visit her, meet her family and potentially marry and she would come to California with me. None of this was true, she simply used me to scam money out of me. I was sending her $400-500 a month, for over a year, in total it was about $6000. Keep in mind that the average monthly wage for Russia is only $400-500 a month, and she was getting that from me every month. She promised that she loved me, and i was the only one for her. A month ago, I finally applied for my Russian visa, in hopes of flying to Russia in June or July to meet her, but she finally told me that she didn't want me or needed me anymore, and that she was dating a good looking Russian man. She said I was ugly, stupid and she never cared about me, that i was just a way for her to get money, without doing anything.
Sonya Melikhova is now 22 years old, she will be 23 on March, 9. To everyone out there, if you see her on any dating site, please be careful. She already has a Russian boyfriend and doesn't care about you, only your money. She will tell you that she loves you and that you're the one for her, but as soon as you tell her that you want to meet her or that you can't send her any more money she will stop talking to you and just end all communication. She's a huge liar and a terrible person!
I have reported her to the FBI for scamming me, and I hope other men do as well. If she comes to America I will press criminal charges for fraud against her. She stole my hard earned money and also wasted more than a year of my time.
